SMVGS also published a two-volume set of the "California Central Coast Pioneer Families" making the extensive research of Barbara Bruce Cole available.  Copies can be obtained from the publisher, Janaway Publishing, Inc., for $67 each (discounted to $40 for the set!).  Reference copies are also available at the Santa Maria Public Library and other regional libraries.
